The sterilisation procedure for medical devices (MD) is divided into several stages.

1. Dismantling: facilitates the preparation of DM (pre-disinfection and cleaning) and then their sterilisation.
2. La pre-disinfection: Protects staff and facilitates cleaning by lowering the level of contamination.
3. Cleaning Removes dirt (particles, waste, stains, etc.) from treated objects.
4. Rinsing: pIt removes all stains.
5. Drying: this allows the sterilising agent (saturated steam) to come into contact with all the surfaces of the DM and prevents them from being re-contaminated.
6. Packaging: mMaintains sterility by avoiding re-contamination of DM after autoclaving.
7. Autoclave sterilisation.

All the processes carried out in our centre are part of a consciously developed hygiene concept that complies with WHO recommendations.
